Monday

Gustav was in the shop on Monday and he did the morning routines like cleaning outside, masks, mirror and glass door/wall. Gustav did some repair for the shoe rack.

After that Brooke and Gustav together going thru the boat manifests for Tuesday and Wednesday boat trips and after lunch Gustav started inventorying fins from a list with every single sort of fins we have and check how many of each brand and sort we have in stock. Ebba was at Makro this day together with the driver Amil. Makro is a big supermarket for different company. We bought for example: Cakes, cleaning stuff and soft drinks for the boat. On our way home to the dive center we stopped at the road and got lunch. Fried rice with chicken. When we came back from Makro I helped Malene, our boss, with the new t-shirts. I organized the t-shirts with the same sizes. It took a long time so when I was done with that I want back home.

Tuesday

This Tuesday Ebba and Gustav worked as assistant snorkeling guide together with Sandra. Our location this trip was Exotic Phi Phi. We start the day as usual 6.30 on diving center and pack the equipment for the day after that we do the same route and pick up ice water food and fruit. Before the customers came to the boat Gustav Sandra and Ebba count every life jacket upstairs from kids XS, S, M, L and XL to adult XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL. During the stop on the Phi Phi Island when the customers leave the boat too walk around Gustav and Ebba count every life jacket downstairs. Well on the boat and after Sandra´s briefing for the snorkel group, Gustav and Ebba helps Sandra with giving the snorkel customers a lifejacket and give them fins in right size. We gave them a mask and snorkel and if everything fits well then they put fins and masks in the lifejacket and make their own package so they don´t lose their equipment.

This time Gustav and Ebba took care of 5 guests. On each snorkeling we have a thing called snorkel taxi and we had three with us this trip Ebba Gustav and Sandra had one each Sandra had stuff like extra masks and snorkel. On the way back Gustav´s three guests were some happy for the work we did for them so they thanked me in hand talked a lot with me and wanted to take picture also.

Thursday - Centara

Gustav was on Centara grand beach resort and the first hour he was in the shop and orient himself on the resort and he saw many monkeys going around. During the time he orient himself I met Leif going to the pool. He is there 2 hours every day if someone from the resort wants to try dive for free in the pool. During the day we sell two seats on the boat to Bida islands. They wanted to snorkel. Ebba was at the boat this day. The trip went to Phi Phi Islands. We started the day as we always do. Pack all the equipment and pick up food on the way. On the boat we started with the breathing and everything like we always so. Ebba was snorkel guide with Andrea this day. They had around 5 customers in the water, so the group was not that big. In the water it’s very important to talk with the people so they feel safe in the water. The day was really good and we went home before the rain. Lucky!

Friday

We started as usual on diving center 06.30 and pack equipment and collect ice food water and fruit exactly the same as Tuesday on Ao Nang beach we charge the long tail boat with everything and after that we wait on our customers to come to the boat. The location for Friday trip is Bida Island.

Gustav and Sandra was the snorkel team for this trip we were many snorkelers this time. Around eleven people. Well on the boat and after the briefing Sandra and Gustav had for their group, Gustav helps Sandra with giving the customer the equipment the need for today which is lifejacket fins mask and snorkel. When they got things that’s fits well then they put fins and masks in the lifejacket and make their own package so they don´t lose their equipment. During the snorkeling Gustav help Sandra to count everybody in the group.

After the 2nd snorkeling Gustav wash al lifejackets in fresh water and put them upstairs to let them dry. During the tour back Gustav and Sandra pack the bag with snorkeling equipment which is going back to the diving center and clean the snorkel corner. Ebba was in the shop and at the dive center this day. She started in the shop at 9. As we always do as a first thing before we open is to clean as much as possible in the shop. Sweeping, polishing and mopping. After that we check all the sizes in the shop, see so the clothes are at the place they should be and look so everything looks clear. At the dive center she helped our boss Malene with the t-shirts and fixed more structure on the shelves. When she was finished there she went to the shop with some stuff that we needed there. Like earplugs and price tags.

Saturday - Shop inventorying masks and books and do boat manifests

Gustav was in the shop on Saturday and he did the same morning routines as on Monday which is cleaning outside, masks, mirror and glass door/wall. After that Pha and Gustav in the beginning going thru the boat manifests for Tuesday and Wednesday boat trips together and after a few minutes Gustav work with it alone and if he needed some help, Pha were there. After lunch Gustav started inventorying fins from a list with every single sort of masks and books (for courses) we have and check how many of each brand and sort we have in stock. Ebba was at Centara this Saturday and clean in the shop, talk with the customers and see if they needed some help or not. Around 15:00. The monkeys come as usual and some customers hid in the store because the monkeys wanted their stuff. Haha. I love to be at Centara when you see so many monkeys.

Sunday - Trash Hero

Today we went to a new beach to clear. This time Pan beach! We started to clean the beach at 10am. This beach had so much trash. Not so much trash on the beach or in the water, but on the side of the beach. You could not go more than 1 meter until you found more trash. Ebba found a different thing on the beach. Can you guess? A positive pregnant test. We knew that we would found different trash on the beach, but not so different as a pregnant test. Haha. This Sunday was not as hot as last Sunday, so that was good. We was around 20 people that cleaned the beach.
