May 1st - 2016 became a day to remember for Kon Tiki Krabi.

After being a close neighbor to Blue Mango restaurant for a long time and staying right across from Krabi Resort, we had to move.

It was a place that many staff members came to hold dear in their hearts, many guest had known exactly where to find us, students had been educated in many ways, great memories had been made. However the decision was made to move to Beach Road.

Whilst our new shop is a bit smaller it is in a perfect location. We are about 20m from the sea, so we can keep track of the weather at all times. Right on the main walkway for all the guests and students and new divers perhaps. There are still some finishing touches to be done, but all in all it starts to feels like home.

Moving day was a fantastic team effort. All available staff worked so hard to make the day run smoothly, even staff from Blue Mango helped out. All alongside the usual daily events of the Kon Tiki business! People came in and greeted us and didn’t mind the temporary mess.

Now we are settled in and can look into making Kon Tiki Krabi even better, as we never like to rest!

So when you are passing down the Beach Road, in front of our usual meeting point, by the 3rd steps, please drop by to say hallo. Sit down, have a friendly chat in the air con and we can explain all the trips we offer to suit all ages and abilities. Take a browse round our shop – there’s something for everyone. We got a new mask and snorkel sets for kids and adults especially chosen for the beginner, a wide choice of masks and fins for the regular divers and snorkellers, and rash guards in a range of designs to name but a selection. If you want a small memento of your time with us we have key rings, beer coolers, mask straps and t shirts.

More to come of course, when high season arrives, so now hopefully old friends and new friends come to find us. Please take a moment from your holiday – you’ll love what we’ve done with the new location!
